Welcome to The Coffee Roost LLC. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to The Coffee Roost LLC. We operate this website and online store, including all information, tools, products and services available from this site to you, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here.

Our store is powered by Shopify, which enables us to sell our products and services to you.

By visiting our site and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”), including any additional terms and policies referenced herein, including our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and Return & Refund Policy.

If you do not agree to all of these Terms, then you may not access the website or use any Services.

1. Eligibility

By using this site, you represent that you are at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your state of residence.

You agree to provide current, complete and accurate account, payment, and shipping information for all purchases.

2. Products

We sell private-label roasted coffee, available as whole bean or ground, that is roasted and packaged by our fulfillment partner.

We make every effort to display product descriptions, roast levels, tasting notes, and images as accurately as possible. However:

Product packaging, labeling, and appearance may vary slightly.
Colors and product images may appear differently depending on your device.
Because coffee is a natural product, flavor and aroma may vary slightly between batches.

All product descriptions, pricing, and availability are subject to change at any time without notice.

We reserve the right to limit the sales of our products to any person, geographic region, or jurisdiction.

3. Orders

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase our products.

We reserve the right to refuse, limit, or cancel any order for any reason, including suspected fraud, pricing errors, product availability, or unusual order quantities.

Orders are not accepted until payment has been processed and you receive an order confirmation email.

Because orders are processed quickly through our roasting and fulfillment partner, order changes or cancellations must be requested within 12 hours of placing the order. After that time, we cannot guarantee that an order can be changed or canceled.

4. Pricing and Billing

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars.

Prices do not include applicable sales tax or shipping charges unless otherwise stated.

You agree to provide valid payment information and authorize us to charge the payment method used at checkout for the total order amount, including taxes and shipping.

We reserve the right to correct pricing errors or inaccuracies at any time, including after an order has been submitted.

5. Shipping and Delivery

Our products are fulfilled through a third-party roasting and shipping partner. Orders are generally processed within 1–2 business days. After shipment, most orders within the contiguous United States typically arrive within approximately 4–7 business days. Delivery to Alaska and Hawaii may require additional time. All processing and delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. Please see our Shipping Policy for current shipping estimates.

Delivery dates are estimates and may be affected by circumstances outside our control. Please see our Shipping Policy and Return & Refund Policy for information regarding delayed, damaged, lost, or misdelivered orders.

If you provide an incorrect shipping address, you may be responsible for any additional shipping charges or replacement costs.

6. Returns and Refunds

Because our products are perishable food items, all coffee sales are final.

We do not accept returns or exchanges of coffee products.

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, you must contact us within 7 days of delivery at coffeeroost1@gmail.com and include:

Your order number
A description of the issue
Photos of the product and packaging

Approved claims may result in a replacement shipment or refund.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, logos, graphics, product names, images, packaging designs, and branding, is owned by The Coffee Roost or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, copy, modify, or use any content from this site without our prior written permission.

8. Optional Tools and Third-Party Services

We may provide access to third-party tools or services, including Shopify, payment processors, analytics providers, email services, or social media integrations.

We do not control these third-party services and are not responsible for their content, policies, or performance.

9. Relationship with Shopify

Our store is hosted by Shopify. However, all purchases are made directly from The Coffee Roost and not from Shopify.

You agree that Shopify is not responsible for any aspect of your purchase, including product quality, shipping, returns, or refunds.

Your submission of personal information through the site is governed by our Privacy Policy.

By using our site, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.

11. User Reviews and Feedback

If you submit reviews, comments, testimonials, photos, or other content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual right to use, reproduce, publish, and display that content in connection with our business.

Our total liability for any claim relating to a product or order shall not exceed the amount you paid for that order.

17. Food Product and Allergy Disclaimer

Our products are food items intended for personal consumption.

Our coffee may be roasted, ground, packaged, or processed in facilities that also handle allergens. Please review the product packaging and contact us before purchase if you have questions regarding allergen handling.

You are responsible for reviewing all product descriptions and ingredient information before consuming any product.

18. No Medical or Health Claims

Product descriptions and educational content are provided for general informational purposes and are not medical advice. We do not claim that our coffee diagnoses, treats, cures, or prevents any disease.

19. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, severe weather, fire, flood, labor disputes, shortages of materials, carrier delays, supply chain disruptions, power outages, internet failures, governmental actions, public health emergencies, war, terrorism, or civil unrest.

20. Arbitration and Class Action Waiver

PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS.

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms, your use of the site, or any purchase made through the site shall be resolved exclusively through individual arbitration in Los Angeles County, California, except that either party may bring an individual action in small claims court.

The arbitration shall be administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules.

You and The Coffee Roost LLC agree that:

Arbitration will occur only on an individual basis.
You waive any right to participate in a class action, class arbitration, or representative proceeding.
No arbitrator may consolidate claims of more than one person.

If any portion of this arbitration provision is found unenforceable, the remaining portions shall remain in effect.
